THE "WATERCOLOR JUST FOR THE FUN OF IT" Class is ending on November 1st. I'm not sure whether to continue holding classes at Rossmoor or not. You can find tutorials on YouTube by clicking on the YouTube logo above. I will add tutorial videos as I am able to tape and edit them.

PAST SHOWS, CLASSES & DEMOS
MORAGA ART GALLERY's "Light and Fire" Exhibit and Artists' Reception SATURDAY, February 4th 5 to 7pm with Guest Artist John Hopper was a great success. I wish to thank those attending the reception and those visiting the exhibit.
Queen Elizabeth — June 2019, John was the instructor of "Watercolor just for the FUN of it" on two 10 day Alaskan Cruises visiting 5 ports; Sitka, Icy Strait (Hoonah, AK), Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan. Vancouver, BC was our departure port and Victoria, BC was a port of call also. Marilyn and I facilitated eighteen 2-hour classes with marvelous participation (up to 24 per class) and great success among the attending artists.
Queen Mary2 —June 2018, John was the instructor of "Watercolor just for the FUN of it" on Cunard Lines' Queen Mary 2 crossing from NYC to Southampton, England and on the return trip also. With two 2-hour classes each sea day, a total of 56 hours, it became a real challenge. Marilyn assisted John who presented range of relaxed, enjoyable experiences and provided participating travelers a "FUN" adventure. John and Marilyn will do more classes on cruise ships in the future.
CWA Exhibit "Beauty of California" at Delta Gallery - STREETS of Brentwood, in Brentwood, CA. Juried Show with "Barn on the Road to Bodega" watercolor accepted. Exhibit: Now through July 1, 2022. See https://www.deltagallery.com for inforamtion and directions.
Exhibit at Atria of Walnut Creek - A Group exhibit with six of Hopper's watercolor paintings, July through November, 2017, included; "Smokey Joe", John Singer Sargent", "How Many Barns" and 3 more. 1400 Montego, Walnut Creek (close to John Muir Hospital).
"Different Perspective" — California Watercolor Association's juried show selected "Opening Day on the Bay" part of the exhibit and Placed First in show at Delta Gallery in Brentwood, CA.

WATERCOLOR DEMONSTRATION — Wednesday, February 4, 2015 — The Rossmoor Art Association invited me to do a watercolor demonstration at the Rossmoor Art Studio. There is a video for loan at the Rossmoor Art Assn. Library.
September 24, 2014 — Art in the Yard, Concord, CA — An all-day event featuring 23 artists & craftspeople plus live music, wine and munchies. I did a demo watercolor of the yard party that was auctioned to benefit the Concord Rotary Endowment.
